Laura Baxter Jewellery

About

I make silver and gold jewellery inspired by botanical, natural forms and unusual gemstones.  I have been making precious jewellery and objects in metal for 26 years. My work is well known for its graphic and stylised interpretations of plants.  As a jeweller I make wearable pieces of nature.  A love of gardening, horticultural tools, botanical illustrations, wildflowers and floriography continue to provide me with endless sources of inspiration.

I was born and raised in the countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Throughout my career I have sold my work to private clients and galleries all over the world, particularly the USA and Japan.  I have had previous workshops in Manchester and Brighton.   My current workshop is on the Welbeck Estate in rural Nottinghamshire and I live on the neighbouring National Trust estate Clumber Park.
